Remarks & Notes |
A Hobart Day Shift Yard Job pulls baretables to the old Santa Fe LA First Street Yard for temporary storage, until they are needed again back at Hobart. The venerable GP35us are seen here passing under the historic Olympic Boulevard bridge along the Los Angeles River. Olympic Boulevard Bridge is a 1,422-foot reinforced concrete T-Beam/Arch span built in 1925 as part of a early 20th century road improvement program that saw 27 ornate and architecturally rich bridges built over the river. Sadly, most of them are pretty much invisible to today's Angelenos. |
