Due to high water from Lake Alice at Churchs Ferry, ND, all traffic other than Amtrak is currently being directed away from the middle of the Devils Lake line, resulting in westbound grain shuttles being rerouted eastward to Grand Forks and south to the mainline at Fargo. Here, a corn train heading from Mayville, ND, to Kalama, WA, is making the run eastward toward Grand Forks after coming off of the Mayville line at Larimore. Affected shuttle trains include these from Mayville as well as those from Arvilla, whose elevator is visible in the background.
