| Fifty two years after being delivered to the South African Railways from the USA, this class 31 Bo-Bo (GE U12B) survives in service with Sheltam, but rebuilt with a low short hood. No.22 is seen loading reef at Harmony's Masimong Mine No.5 shaft. Work has started on sanding off the old paint in preparation for an overhaul, which is why the loco is not looking its best! |
