Their work complete on a glorious summer evening, VIA RDCs 6135 and 6148 leave Victoria station behind as they trundle across the Victoria Harbor drawbridge, deadheading back to the shop for the night. This could be the last summer of service for these two old warriors as VIA is completely rebuilding six RDCs to replace those currently in service.
I took this photo from the pedestrian path located on the bridge alongside the track; interestingly, there are no posted restrictions for peds while trains are on the bridge. |
