Remarks & Notes

The wrecks of SS4-0043. This locomotive encountered an in-tunnel derailment in Gansu Province when the Wenchuan Earthquake happened on May 12, 2008. The rear locomotive section (SS4-0043A) and the following wagons were trapped in the tunnel and got burned. Fortunately the two drivers escaped successfully. Two years later, an artists collected the wrecks and made this exhibition for memorial purpose.
