WHAT THE ^@!!!! Is it an OCS? Is it CSX's new high speed Intermodal test train? What could it be? Really CSXT 9998 is headed to the rescue of the REAL OCS sitting in Maxwell Yard in Greenwood, SC. Turns out that the the CSXT 9993 had some type of mechanical failure and CSXT 9998 was sent as a replacement. The reason for the 3 set of empty well cars was so that X090-20 could run full track speed instead of a restricted speed of 30mph if it were to run as a light engine movement. This was surely a VERY RARE movement to maybe never seen again! This is also the first time I've seen an F40 on the McCormick Subdivision! |
