Remarks & Notes |
No DPU on Q602? Q602 splits the signals of Macon siding after a meet with counterpart Q601 and in a surprise move does not have a DPU on it today. This idea of running the usually 10,000 foot to 12.000 foot long Q602 without an engine on the back would backfire horribly for CSX today as the train would predictably stall on the Notasulga hill just 8 miles from this location and lose about 4 hours trying to find another set of locomotives to come rescue it.
