Remarks & Notes |
Southbound #252 is seen passing through Delanson. In the foreground you can see the sign for the hand operated Derail that protects cars from rolling onto the Main. This Siding is a very important piece of trackage as it allows the interchange of cars between CP and SMS. MTY's are spotted on the south end of the siding near Main Street by the Delanson Vol. Fire Department. Loads are Spotted on the north end. All freight is interchanged by CP's Binghamton Based "Super Local" #514\#515 depending on direction. SMS's Crews still refer to it as the "Local" or #515. Loaded Auto racks are also occasionally spotted there too as are MTY racks if Southbound #939 is running late and there's no loads to be interchanged. |
