| An ARR gravel train is tied down in the siding at Birchwood for the weekend on a damp late summer evening. The ARR operates 2-3 gravel trains during the summer construction season on most weekdays using ARR system hoppers and generally a pair of SD70MACs from the railroad's first (non HEP) SD70 order. Photo taken with permission under direct ARRC supervision with all required PPE. |
