Remarks & Notes
The TGV on the way to Germany along the boat channel of the Rhine-Marne channel just before entering the twin tunnel at Arzviller. The 313 km (194 mi) long boat channel was opened in 1853, three years after the railroad was built. "POS" type of TGV stands for Paris-Ostfrankreich-Süddeutschland (German for Paris, Eastern France, Southern Germany).
