Remarks & Notes |
The class 310s were often referred to as 'coffee grinders' this little 0-6-0T has outside Stephenson type valve gear (maybe a derivative straight link) and is seen here making a smokey departure from a wayside station. In 1946 Jawa introduced a 250cc two stroke single with dual exhausts which became a widespread utility motorcycle around the world, especially in countries allied to the communist block. Replicas of this original are produced in Chang Jiang Motorworks in China in the 21st century. Just after the 310 and it's train cleared the level crossing at Křemže the bike and rider departed in a cloud of 2 stroke exhaust. |
