Common practice on the UP when running distributed power is to place more power on the point that the rear or mid-train. On this particular train, one unit was set up on the point with two on the rear. UP 7895 looks rather odd on the point of the North Platte, NE to West Colton, CA manifest skirting the north slope of the Oquirrh Mountains along the Great Salt Lake just west of CP C764, Lake Point.
