It's The Water! It's downtown Olympia on a warm mid-summer Friday and Tacoma Rail's "Belmore" Local crosses Capitol Lake on it's way to work industry in Tummwater's Mottman Industrial Park. This is the former Northern Pacific's Grays Harbor Line (16'th Subdivision) between St. Clair, Wa and the Pacific at Moclips, WA. But what's that? Yes, it outboard racing time! On the weekend prior to Olympia's Lakefair, the Seattle Outboard Association conducts regatta racing on the reflecting lake at the base of the Deschutes River (that waterfall on the Olympia Beer Label). Incidentally, "the water" is currently infested with New Zealand mudsnails, restricting fishing and boating. Scanned From Transparency:Fuji RDP III
