Another westbound UP junk train heads for Hinkle, Or. Its show east of Minidoka, Idaho. To the left (North) of the train there is literally nothing but sagebrush and lava flows for 150 miles. Seriously! I followed the MOW road to the right back in 14 miles from the nearest paved road to this location. After I shot this train I kept going for a few more miles until it got too dark to shoot, so I started to work my way back via a different route. I ended up lost in some farmers field on the banks of the Snake River. An hour or so later after wandering aimlessly I found a paved road and worked my way back to Minidoka. Good fun!
