Remarks & Notes |
On a bright winter evening AC 1751,1750,1756,1755 head a northbound extra near the south siding switch at Wabos. On the Searchmont highway Wabos was about as far as plowed roads allowed one to get in winter time. This was one of the rougher winters of the 90's and snow was extremely deep at the time. The photo was taken off of a roadside plow bank that was higher than the roof of our Ford Explorer. F's in freight service were fairly common during the winter months on the ACR north of Sault Ste. Marie and also on the WC's Sault Ste. Marie-Gladstone line. Although getting a solid set of the F's was extremely rare. This shot was taken by my Wife Sonya. |
