| The daily westbound Pasco-Vancouver parallels the headwaters of the Yakima River as it passes under the former Milwaukee Road overpass west of Easton. The trail bridge (pictured in the distance) was constructed in 2004 on the remains of the former Milwaukee piers, thus eliminating a 2.5 mile detour on the John Wayne Pioneer Trail. Currently this portion of the trail is again closed due to deteriorating conditions in Tunnel 47 (just ahead) and all other tunnels in Iron Horse State Park, including the 2.3 mile Snoqualmie Tunnel.
