The maintenance of the Chemin de fer de la Mure motive power is done in the workshop at Saint Georges de Commiers. Volunteers are making some maintenance work on the Decauville railcar. This vehicle has a weight of 7 tons and has a maximum speed of 50 km/h. On the right side, the electric locomotive number T8 is waiting for her next duty. In 1932, the railway reveived five brand new electrics built by SECHERON works (Geneva, Switzerland), and the "Ateliers du Nord de la France". These Bo-Bo machines are 12 m long and have a weight of 60 tons. |
