Remarks & Notes

Brooksbottom Viaduct spanning the River Irwell must have featured in thousands of photographs over the years. I confess to having my fair share and why not? It's a classic location and with the right weather and train it always looks stunning. There's another (perhaps more dramatic) viewpoint to be had here but that will have to keep for the perfect conditions to arise!
