Built in 1952 as DL&W 959, a GP7. She has worn EL 1278, CR 5993 and after rebuilding 11/78 to the GP8, her current Conrail blue 5460. Just over two years from my visit there, and she has a new horn mounted on the engineer's side and more fading to the lettering is noted.
This gallery contains photos of equipment and properties that became, were and used to be part of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. This gallery also contains photos of equipment paying tribute to the EL or its predecessors.
