Remarks & Notes |
A Heritage 2 adorned Gevo leads a like painted CW44-9 mate eastbound on Q368 through the congested area between Braddock and McKeesport. The Union Railroad lays claim to the trackage in the foreground as well as the yard on the far side of the river. In between the Union holdings is the Monongahela River and the CSX Pittsburgh Sub, hosting Q368 on track 2 and a westbound coal train off the Mon Line on track 1. Finally, above it all is NS's Port Perry branch, feeling the burden of one of the many stack trains which ply its rails daily to avoid some tight clearances in downtown Pittsburgh. All that is missing is a boat in the river. |
