Remarks & Notes |
General Roca Railroad's train number 118, from Tandil and Tres Arroyos, arrives Plaza Constitución with GM-EMD G12 # 6555 and a short consist of baggage and three chair cars of different seat-configuration (one each of Tourist, First and Air-conditioned Pullman classes). Local railfans will have the chance of dating this picture by means of two aspects that have long vanished from the scene: three-aspect upper-quadrant automatic signals on the bridge at left (soon to be replaced by new automatic color signalling), and side plates covering # 6555's frame below sidewalkways' level (later removed to give easier access to innards and to reduce tare weight of units). |
