It's a hot, semi-hazy June day and Southern 610 (relettered Southern from its original T&P 610) storms eastward. Our information was that SR 4501 was to pull this trip, so what a surprise to see this mighty 2-10-4 at the head of the Louisville, Kentucky bound trip. Today the number 610 reminds many of the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum 610, but to me, this is the 610 that I remember.
