Remarks & Notes |
Soo 765,755,4436 have train 911 and 55 cars rolling through fresh snow on the curves near Garnet. The Soo had already re-routed most COFC traffic off this line and it now is surviving on mainly forest products and some steel out of Sault Ste. Marie. Less than two years into the future the new WC will take over and by the time of the CN takeover in 2001 will have grown traffic to a couple trains in each direction per day. It will be a totally different traffic mix but will rival the greatest amount of business that the Soo was able to produce in the 70's and 80's. |
