| WC 2554 has put the 39 cars of train 41 together in the yard at Trout Lake and is backing east to clear the wye switch and will then head westbound on the line to Newberry and Munising. By this time a single unit was fairly common on this job. Big changes would come by the end of 2001 and the WC's vintage four axle EMD fleet would soon be replaced with CN GP38-2's, GP40-2L(W)'s and IC death star GP40R's. |
