Remarks & Notes
A nine-unit consist of five WAMX/AWRR (ex-C&NW) GP50s, a WAMX SD40-2, two BNSF C44-9Ws and a BNSF ES44DC roll a hundred car train of empty rock gons west through the Texas Hill Country northwest of Austin for loading at one of the massive quarries near Marble Falls. The nine units can handle the empties with ease but the loaded eastbound train will require every bit of that power to get back to the UP at McNeil, TX for turnover to BNSF, who will use UP trackage rights to return to home rails.
