A Norfolk Southern train carrying plastic resins heads towards the Starpet manufacturing facility in Asheboro, NC. It is there that these resin materials will be converted into plastic bottles for many applications including Coca Cola products. Today's train on Norfolk Sothern’s M Line that runs from High Point to Asheboro NC is being led by engine #3099 which was built in June 1971 for the Norfolk Western Railway as a GP38AC unit with roster #4126. April 2011. |
