Remarks & Notes |
Caught this train on its southbound journey yesterday as 698. Would have missed it today as it was running a bit early, but my dog (who likes train-watching as much as she likes car rides) heard it coming before I did and alerted me. Had to hit the highway to get ahead of it, catching it here close to the south end of town. The tracks parallel Aspdin Road in a large arc around the bottom of Lake Vernon and here the train is transitioning into a sharper part of the curve, hence the difference in superelevation from where the engine is compared to the rest of its consist. |
