| An eastbound coal load slowing to a stop at Range siding casts a long shadow during the last minutes of light on Halloween, 2010; a westbound out of Bond is the source of the delay to this train. The red rocks along this stretch of the Dotsero Cutoff are strikingly distinctive, particularly for this photographer who spends most of his time in the evergreen-and-basalt world of Washington. |
