| The class 22 Diesel-Hydraulic locomotives were amongst the most unloved and unreliable diesels ever built for the U.K. rail system.Highly prone to failure,the 58 locos (built in 1959) had all disappeared by the early 1970s.Here is D6315 at Plymouth Laira depot in March 1969. |
