With the arrival of the 2002, Utah Railway now rosters two GP38-3 motors dressed in Genesee & Wyoming livery. The pair were rebuilt and repainted for G&W at Bayline shops in Panama City, Florida. The 2001 will be the next arrival, currently undergoing a rebuild/repaint in Florida. The new North Temple street viaduct construction project continues to require speed restrictions and work windows. The last three beam segments were ready for installation on June 16th. When complete, the bridge will feature six lanes of roadway and a double track light rail line leading to the Salt Lake International Airport.
