Remarks & Notes |
Old Trails This empty coal train sits on original Missouri Pacific mainline at Avondale while the ex-BN Triclops sits on the original Santa Fe main. Both MoPac and Santa Fe had parallel running mainlines from NA Junction, just east of Avondale, to Pueblo in the west. In the mid 1970s both railroads consolidated their two tracks into a single mainline. The MoPac line would be used from NA Junction to Avondale, while the Santa Fe line would be used the rest of the way to Pueblo. |
