Bloody Nose Originally built for the B&O in 1969, this GP40 was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen and re-released to the Southern Pacific on April 15, 1991. Besides still retaining its original SP nose lettering, this unit has the distinction of being the first SP locomotive to have the larger style of Southern Pacific speed lettering applied to its long hood. Today though, a hostler moves it about the locomotive terminal in Pueblo.
