Remarks & Notes |
Summertime in the Wasatch: Sunshine in the morning, rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon! Heber Valley Railroad's 'Solder Hollow Express' slows to pick up a half dozen passengers at the Soldier Hollow station stop in Charleston. Meanwhile, a crazy railfan photographer documents the train's passage with an umbrella in one hand and a Canon Rebel in the other! Photos like this are a pain to capture, but I do love weather photography. Note the fierce rainfall splashing from the rooftops of the old coaches. |
