Union Pacific's Stockton, CA to Iron Springs, UT ore empty crosses over from main 1 to main 2 at CP RG 701, Provo. Dispatcher 5 has lined the iron ore train toward UP's Provo Yard where will depart on the Sharp Subdivision west to Lynndyl, Milford, Lund, and Iron Springs. From that point, the Southern Utah Railroad will haul it to the iron ore mines on the former UP Iron Mountain Branch. Utah Transit Authority's unfinished commuter rail station lines the southern border of the Provo Subdivision between Freedom Boulevard and University Avenue.
