| 4138 handles an afternoon rush hour Waldwick-bound train on the Bergen County Line. This unit started life as Rock Island GP40 384 and was later turned into a "beast" by MK. The grafting of a BN F45 hood onto a GP40 frame was certainly unique. I suspect the crews wish these units were out of service, but they seem to have 9 lives on NJ Transit. |
