Alfalfa hay season is in full swing in this agriculture-rich southern portion of Colorado as SLRG FP10 #1100 is seen working the Monte Vista Turn as it slows for the yard limits in Monte Vista. Just behind the camera, it'll cut off the head five cars for interchange with the San Luis Central shortline. Storm clouds build off in the distance signaling the standard afternoon build-up thunderstorms so common in this part of the world. Click here to view a video of this scene.
