| Coming off CSXT as P950 out of North Bergen NJ, this CSXT 10 car OCS has F40s: '9999' & '9992' as it crosses the Mohawk River on a muggy late afternoon out of Cohoes after swapping crews in Albany. The special is (once again) bound for the Whitney Stakes races at Saratoga Springs where it will layover for the weekend on the CP/D&H near CPC 37 until Sunday morning. The day of railfanning along the Colonie Sub would be later marred by tragedy when a woman passenger would be killed later in the evening by a crossing collision in Cohoes just south of this bridge sadly involving CP 938 heading to Kenwood Yard. |
