On August 18, 2011, Amtrak's new Los Angeles Preventive Maintenance Facility was dedicated. Seen in this view are a variety of Superliner cars receiving routine maintenance. Coach 34008 sits higher than the other cars, as its body has been lifted by one of two sets of stationary hydraulic jacks so that the trucks can be removed and serviced.
