Remarks & Notes |
Where else can you find historic steeplecabs pulling freight in the United States? The answer: no where. The Iowa Traction Railroad is one of the last electric freight operations in the country. The line's four historic Baldwin-Westinghouse products still prove their worth switching local industries. Here, the road's cab #54 spends the night at the AG Processing plant in Mason City. Note the moon on the right hand side of the engine and the lights of Mason City on the left side. |
