| The Pride of the Fleet - As passenger season winds to a close here in the Last Frontier I thought I'd post one from back during the beginning of the season. Here is a shot of the southbound Denali Star the ARR's flagship train as it cruises south about an hour from its destination in Anchorage after a 12 hr 356 mile run from Fairbanks. On this splendid spring day snow lingers on the high peaks of the Chugach Range. |
