| On this Sunday of rememberance, an unusual detour swap has commenced between the VTR and Pan Am Railways between the joint trackage between CPF477(Crescent) and CPF475(Elnora) near Ballston Lake NY. The VTR is seen leaving Waite Road Crossing with the picked up "EDSR" freight after dropping off it's block of loaded slurry out of Rutland. The freight is powered by five red geep lashup-a "spectacular" uncommon event in itself only made sweeter by this rare move due to the VTR's B&R line being severely disabled by Tropical Storm Irene. |
