Remarks & Notes
Making only their second run since the Irene flooding impacted the interchange capabilities at White River Junction, VT, the Claremont Concord Railroad Alco S4 104 heads across the Connecticut River with 11 cement loads for the Eagle Leaf transload center. The Washington County Railroad's damaged bridge is visible just beyond the locomotive, where multiple cranes work to save the three-span bridge across the White River.
