After trying twice to get a photo here that I was truly happy with, I finally got one on the absolutely beautiful evening of August 4th, 2011. Here, NS 37Q is depicted grinding uphill into Wytheville with a long and heavy manifest train making its trek from Roanoke to Bristol. NS 16T, 38Q, and I3G are all waiting for this monster train in Rural Retreat because the 37Q was too long to fit in most sidings on the District, causing the Dispatcher to pile the eastbounds up at Crockett where the longest siding on the line is located.
