Vermont Rail System and New England Central Railroad have teamed up to begin a rock runner train that delivers large rock from Colchester to Bethel, VT to aid in rebuilding VT Route 107 following Hurricane/TS Irene. RMPX GP40-2W 9457 is joined by VTR GP40 301 to haul 17 loaded rock cars - two conventional gons and 15 air dump cars. The train is seen dumping cars in Bethel.
