Remarks & Notes |
The first for me to experience a HERZOG Ballast Train that actually runs off of GPS actually dumping its consist by remote that simply works off of GPS... just amazing as the train is supposed to maintain a steady 18 MPH on its mission and stopped dumping ballast perfectly for the Fairhope road crossing @ MP 197.60 and the bridges as it climbed the grade up Sand Patch grade... The loaded train emptyed its entire payload between MP 197.50 & MP 206 .. . The Herzog employee the crew picked up in Hyndman for this job operates the GPS System from the second unit |
