Remarks & Notes
Three Lehigh Valley Alco C628's, (636 and 632 in "Snowbird" attire) lead an eastbound departing Coxton Yard at Pittston Junction in the late summer under threatening skies. This Allentown bound train is crossing the Lackawanna River, as well as curving northward onto the Lehigh Valley’s Mountain Cutoff. There, it will make a large loop to head south, avoiding the original line through Wilkes-Barre.

An attempt to put the best picture of engines that represent each of America's railroads. When a better picture of an engine/type is found, it will be added.
