To celebrate the 60th anniversery of the class 1200 engines, on November 12th a reunion was organised for the 8 preserved engines. At the station of Amersfoort there was a line-up organised for these engines. From front to back:
- The 1255 (former NS 1221) from the Classic Locomotive Foundation in the ACTS scheme the engine has services in from 2002 till 2010.
- The 1211 from the Dutch Railway museum in the NS scheme the engine has serviced in from 1983 till 1998
- The 1218 from the Classic Locomotive Foundation in the original brown scheme the engine was delivered to the NS in 1952.
- The 1201 from the Classic Locomotive Foundation in the original turquoise scheme the engine was deliverd to the NS in 1952.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
