In an extremely rare occurrence on the Vermont Rail System, a trio of matched Vermont Railway-painted units - VTR GP38-2 201, VTR GP40-2 303 and VTR GP40-2 307 - pull the loaded slurry train off the Bennington Branch on the west leg of the wye. The train is heading for Hoosick Jct., NY and delivery to the Pan Am Southern. A brief respite of sun occurs amid snow that is coating the higher elevations, including Bald Mountain in the distance.
