Long Hood Forward With their switching nearly done, today’s AC90 uses a veteran from the Southern stables in that of NS 3294. Built for the Southern in 1978, not much other than the paint has changed for this SD40-2 as it’s still set up to run as intended, long hood forward, and still retains its high hood on the rear.
