Baldwin Locomotive Works 2-8-2 #35 leads the Heber Creeper tourist train through brilliant fall colors in Provo Canyon. The 35 was the mainstay power for the Wasatch Mountain Railway between 1971 and 1976. It was built new by Baldwin for the Pacific Lumber Company in 1924. By 1993, it would be sold and trucked to the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City, Nevada. |
